Collecting and supplying information is a driving force for progress. However, even in the age of information technology, students, youth, and common people in rural areas of Bangladesh are often deprived of this opportunity. To address this gap, Shandhani Shangstha has established an Information Center. Here, students can access educational resources, farmers can obtain agricultural information, and educated unemployed youth can find employment opportunities. The Shandhani Information Center houses a collection of 1,508 books and provides daily newspapers. Every day, 25-30 people visit to read various books and newspapers. Additionally, the center offers facilities for borrowing books, watching television, and engaging in activities like table tennis, chess, carom, and internet access.
