NUTRITION & REHABILITATION PROJECT
Malnutrition is a severe issue in Bangladesh, particularly in rural areas. Students in these regions often drop out of school due to financial hardships, and malnutrition further impedes their education and the development of their talents. Additionally, many girls leave school before reaching grades four or five due to early marriage.
To combat these challenges, identified families are provided with nonrefundable cows. The families can consume some of the milk, sell the surplus, and save the proceeds. In times of need, beneficiaries of Nutrition & Rehabilitation program can access financial support without any terms or conditions. The cows remain with the families permanently. Since the project’s inception in 2002, 259 cows have been distributed, significantly impacting the lives of these families.
