Among the various projects implemented by Shandhani Shangstha, sanitary latrines were provided to 100 poor families in 2009 with the financial support of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation. Additionally, with special allocations from the BNF in the 2019-20 fiscal year, sanitary latrines were provided to 23 poor families, and tube-wells were installed for 8 poor families. This initiative has made the use of sanitary latrines a habit among these families and ensured access to potable water, significantly protecting them against health risks.
