(EIIN-118241), School code-5830, college code-5755) Shandhani school & college launched its journey entitled Onnesha Biddaniketon with assiduity, effort & high ambition in 1999 with the following aims. Later in 2009, Onnesha Biddaniketon was changed into Shandhani School & college.

Aims & Objectives:

(i) To pay importance both to theoretical and practical education equally

(ii) To need sound health for receiving education, for this reason, to have a close eye to health education

(iii) To try to materialize achieved education

(iv) To create sense of honor to all kind of deeds

(v) To take measures to creative education process

(vi) To be respectful to elders, to maintained friendly relation to the age mates, to teach to be

       affectionate to the younger

(vii) To teach a look at all of society equally (viii) To acquire knowledge about home & abroad

Medium of education: Bangla

Infrastructure: There are two three-storied building and one two storied building in our institution. In one three-storied building the lessons of primary section ( from play group to seven)are taught, in another three-storied building the lessons of secondary section( from eight to ten) are taught and in two storied building the lessons of college section( from eleven to twelve grade) are taught.

Supply of drinking Water: In junior section, secondary section & college section there is supply of water beside tube-well.

Co-curricular activities: Drama, recitation, music, debate, drawing, & sports.

Annual Sports competition

Annual sports competitions are organized to develop the body shape and competitive spirit of the students. Notable events are races, long jump, high jump, cock fight, skipping, discus throw and other events.

Education Fair:

A day long education fair is arranged in the school campus by the concerted efforts of the students and teachers of Shandhani school & college, Gangni, Meherpur to enhance the creativity of the students and make them attentive to their practical lessons and theoretical lessons.

Study Tour

The students of class five, nine and eleven go on a study tour to an important place of our country fixed by the school authority. The range of knowledge of students is spread through the visit of an important and historical places of the country. Beside this they become real patriots. Moreover, the students of twelve grade in geography department are taken to an important geographical place as study tour fixed by school authority, so that they can make them acquainted with the new environment. This is why they have to pay study tour fees with their school fees.

Essay Competition in Japan:

30 Students of Shandhani School & College Gangni, Meherpur participated in the drawing and essay competition held in 2020 on Yume Miru Kodomo Kikin Fukuoka, Japan. Of them 11 students become winners.

Debate competition

In the anti-corruption debate competition organized by Gangni Upazilla Administration on 11 march, 2020 Shandhani School and College Debate team got first place among 53 debate teams of secondary school in Gangni Upazilla. The subject of debate was- ‘The role of family is key in creating anti-corruption attitude’.

Guest Lecture:

Guest Lecture of wise persons in society is arranged now and then by inviting them and their experience is imparted among the students as tale.

Laboratory

There are sufficient scientific equipment’s in the laboratory of our school. Regular Practical classes are arranged so that science can be made easy and attractive to the students.

Library

There are sufficient various kinds of books in the library of our school. Every week books are issued from the school library so that students can from the habit of reading books and library work is made to do by them. Beside this, newspapers are supplied in the school library so that students can acquire knowledge about home & abroad.

National & International Days Celebration

The students, teachers and governing body together celebrate various National & International Days with proper dignity and solemnity.
