Sewing has been promoted as a means of empowering underprivileged women, helping them become self-reliant and self-employed. In the workplace, many women face significant challenges, particularly widows and divorcees who often become burdens to their families and society. However, with proper support, these women can achieve independence.

With this goal in mind, a project titled ‘A Created Project for the Employment of Poor Women’ was initiated. Since its inception, 972 impoverished women have received sewing training through this initiative. Notably, 80 women were trained with financial support from the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF), and upon completion, each received scissors, a scale, and ribbon. Additionally, ten extremely poor women were provided with sewing machines. Moreover, under this project, 110 women were each given a goat.
